Default FRPP 4.10's are here but I've got a question

My gears showed up but can't find any pinion depth or backlash specs on them anywhere. Has anyone else run across this? I've installed alot of gear sets over the years, and this is the first set I've seen without the specs scribed on them.

my richmonds had the specs on a sheet of paper that came in the box, but not on the gears.

The only sheet with them has the part #'s and thicknesses of the shims that came with them. I tried to call Ford's tech line, but they're not open today.

I set my backlash at .010. I also used the original shim behind the pinion, mine was .029. If I was installing the gears, I would start with the original shims and see what kind of pattern and backlash you end up with. I installed 3.73 and used original carrier shims and pinion shim. I have no whine and my backlash ended up at .010. I hope this helps.
