2006 Mustang GT spark plugs?
I bought some Mobile One full syn. to put in my Stang. And of course the Ford oil filter. I've allready got 38,000 miles on the car and was thinking maybe I should change the plugs too. I'm guessing they're right on top under what I think are the coils. Any advice on which ones to get, if I should bother, or something I need to know before I go to change them?

Some S197 owners have experienced problems removingtheir plugs. Recommend watchingvideo #26 in the following link in orderto possibly avoid the same problems. It's for the 5.4 L engine, but it has the same heads as the 4.6 L in the S197.

You're welcome.
My intention was notto deter you from changing your plugs. Manyowners have successfully pulled the plugs on their S197's. I just wanted to make you aware ofthe problems thatcan possibly happen when you decide to do so, and what stepsyou cantake to hopefully prevent them.

Thank you very much. That was very helpful. I don't think I'm going to change them. It runs great, and I don't think it's worth the possibilty of something going wrong.

RE: 2006 Mustang GT spark plugs?
Does anyone know if running colder plugs while still N/A does any good, I have some HT0 plugs I was going to use with a NOS system but sold the system, kept the plugs, should I sell them or install them? Benefits for running a colder plug ?
