If you have a GT, it's not worth IMO, unless you stoke that Windsor. Now we're talking
If you plan to do this regardless, it will be a lot easier with a carbuteror set-up.
Fabrication will be in motor/tranny mounts and custom DShaft. You'll prolly need a different fadiator, custom PS/AC hoses.
If you go fuel injection, you will need an electronic Guru.

If I can find another LL, preferably a sixer, that's what I'll do... 427ci out of the 351 block and 500+hp at the wheels N/A. All of this matted to a six spd tranny, yes!

Anyway, good luck. I wanna see this.

BMR makes a k-member for the s197 to put a windsor swap with the mounts. You also get to use the stock Power Steering Rack. You just need a tranny, DS and wiring. I already looking into it. Check out BMRs website.

Its the KM012. That will be all you need.

Personally I'd say even that's not worth it. Now if was a Cleveland instead of a Windsor........

Don't forget that the Cleveland is a heavier block...
I love to see a 427/460 stroker kit out of that already torkey block though.

I totally agree! Nothing like having a nice lobing stroker in our body style with an awsome sounding mid dump exhaust!
