Default what exhaust should i get for a good, low, aggressive rumble?

Like the subject line says... I've been pouring over forums trying to find the best with a healthy rumble to it. I want it louder than stock, but not super loud (quieter than SLP LM), kind of a 2v/4v sound. It seems to me the best bet is the Pypes mid-muffler system, or to go with more of an o/r h pipe with flows or borla or something? any more ideas?

Check the exhaust threads but I have an 06 auto with CAI, stock exhaust except for Mac axlebacks. And I love the sound of the Mac's.So does everyone that hears them. I'd like to do midpipes sometime but I hate to lose the sound I have now.

I have Flowmasters and the sound is great.

love my Borla's, nice low rumble at idle, then gets that perfect sound when I hit the pedal!

+1 on the MACs, I had alot of issues with fit, do to the driver's side cat-back pipe being too long ~~~ so I had rubbing, got all that corrected, may not be an issue on a 07 but FYI

Here is a short audio clip of my set-up, of course I have LT headers/ X-pipe so it is much more aggressive but at idle the sound is basically like stock set-up with just the MACs.

Borlas are great but ridiculously priced !!!!!!!!!!!!! We drive Mustangs, not Z06 Corvettes, LOL

video clip of 1/4 mile run, fairly loud at WOT !

Just switched from the Flowmasters to the Pypes Mid Mufflers yesterday and they sound great. A bit louder than the flows but a very deep aggressive tone.

+1 on MACs. The CAI/tune really woke them up and i havent heard any nicer of a sound. I like them more than the FRPPstingers on a GT500. I had no fit problems. 300 for stainless is a great deal though.
