The brenspeed saleens put out a lot of hp, 540 at the flywheel for 11-13.5 PSI IIRC.

Whipples and saleens make similar HP with a good dyno tune pound for pound of boost. The issue really comes down to price and potential. With an upgraded fuel system and bottom end in your car, you can make a lot more horsepower with a whipple than you can with a saleen. Also, when you break down the horsepower per dollar cost, the whipple is the clear winner. I was on the fence for a long time, but I ultimately went with the whipple for the reasons stated above.

440rwhp 415rwtq with the Ford Racing tune. No problems as of it. I mash on it everytime i drive it. Plaining on goingaround 20ibs of boost and dyno tunewhen i get my rotating assembly.

If you do your shopping correctly you can get a killer deal on the Whipple. For the price I bought mine dollar for dollar the Whipple is better for running 10 psi. The Saleen will certainly do it but you will have to buy alot of extra parts that dont come in the Saleen kit or go with a Brenspeed package.

For me I would only run 10psi with the GT-500 fuel pumps which will cost you $700 more if you go saleen. They are included in the whipple kit.

I am only running my car at 8psi on the 91 octane Whipple canned tune. I made 416rwhp and 398rwtq SAE corrected. I have talked to a few tuners and shown them my dyno charts with boost, spark, and air fuel mapped and they said I could pick up another 20rwhp easy.

Eventually I will up the boost to 10psi when I get a new clutch and wider tires.Aiming for a conservative 460rwhp.

Good Luck.
