I know yall might wanna kill me for asking this question like everbody else does but i just cant decide. im planning on getting gears, udp's, delete plates, and driveshaft (if the money allows) but i just keep on going back and forth on the gears. should i go 4.10 or 3.73 or even 3.90? ive even had a friend with an 06 mustang gt say i shouldnt even get gears, but ive gotten into drag racing so much and gotten out of street racing i think it would be a good way to go. i dont plan on goin with a s/c or turbo for a few years or atleast untill i pay off my car.

i got the stock 3.55s...am i goin to notice a difference with 3.73s?

3.73s sound good. A little step up from stock.

Heck !!...... Sometimes I get in my car and think someone came during the night and took the 4.10 gears out !!! Go for sure 4.10 and maybe even 4.36 ???? I love the gears ...really wakes it up !!

yea i think im goin with 4.10s...somebody else posted a tread on 4.10s and reading it made up my mind....ill hopefully do those and a driveshaft in the next month or so.....thanks to all!

You're missing 4.30 and 4.56's from your poll. My vote is for 4.30's.

If you are into drag racing and drive mostly city miles, then get the 4.10s. Best ratio for a manual.

But if you drive a lot of highway miles, then you may want to consider 3.73s or 3.90s.

FWIW....I drive on German Autobahns with 4.10s. No problems. 4.10s aren't that aggressive.
