Default Stock Clutch Query

I distinctly remember two summers ago i saw a z06 corvette, and i was rolling up to a righthand turn and i revved but then let out the clutch too soon, at around 4k in 2nd rolling at 5-10mph. I smelled an awful, familiar smell. After that i noticed decreased "play time" with my clutch. "play time" is what me and my friends call the area when the clutch starts to engage to when its fully engaged. I seem to have very little "play time." This makes it hard not to have excess spin on launches. Ive adjusted my clutch cable once or twice which helped a little. Anyone have this problem?

From what I understand our clutch are a completely self contained hydralic system, there really isn't adjustments, I think I may have the diagram around here somewhere.

haha, i must have deserved that. Good one hypersurf. ya im an idiot guys. I took it to a dealer where i know some mechanics and we lifted it up and he did something that made a difference. Idk tho it may have all been in my head. Anyways no harm done, if someone else posted a stupid untrue statement llike that i would have done the same thing.

But ya anyone have any thoughts on this?

In all seriousness, I have noticed that there is little throw between disengaged and engaged. If its not slipping it is still good. If it is slipping then its time to replace it. I dont think there is much more that you can do.
