Default torque converter now or later?

also how much harder does it launch off the line compared to the stock converter?
plan on getting the TCI off brenspeed and then just getting the SC kit in June.

Is it nessessary to even get the TCI or will I have more then enough power (supercharged) to get off the line with the stock converter??

It really has more about to do about taking your power and getting it to the wheels. The TC upgrade is one of the best mods you can do for the auto outside of a tune. There is a big difference with an upgraded TC as it get more power to wheels as opposed to the stock converter. Since you are going with the supercharger I would recommend going with a 3000 stall. The TCI is OK but there are better ones out there but for a price. I went with the TCI as it's a bit cheaper and I do not do a lot of track time. My first drive after I noticed a big difference when getting into it.

thanks for the tips.

I was reading about something called the PI mutli-plate converter or something or another
was best for FI cars while the TCI is best for NA? since I am going FI in the real near
future I think I may go with that one instead.

great numbers with that blower btw..I want about the same with my set up.

If your not going to be at the track worring about 60 foot times. You might not want the converter.
