I recently bought FRPP 4.10's and was wondering if anyone put that as there first mod and how much HP should i be expecting?

I don't believe 4:10s will increase HP but rather will distribute the existing HP by increasing your torque at lower RPM. So you will enjoy increased torgue launching off the line, and really enjoy the powerband from stop to 90 mph.

Yeah, your HP isn't going to change. Just gets you into the power band faster. FASTER. Probably the most fun mod I've done yet.

Gears were my third mod: Axle-Back mufflers, CAI/Tune then Gears. Like they said - gears do not increase HP. They simply get you into the engine's powerband quicker so it feels like you have more HP. You accelerate quicker and get thrown into the back of your seat harder.

+1. You'll get .2-.4 out of them in the 1/4 depending a lot on your 60'.

Gears are not a mod...they are a lifestyle...once you get them of course

Best thing i've done to my car no doubt...and I only did them recently...it really changes the driving, and it makes the car feel and act so much stronger...

Pull the trigger, get the gears, I promise you wont be dissapinted!!

i love rolling to 2800 rpm in first gear and just nailing the throttle SHOOTS me soooo hard into my seat. lol 4.10 FTW

I like mine. It wasn't the first mod but it is a no brainer.

As far as mods go the 4:10 might be the only one you make for quite a while.The car will feel sooooooo much better,Especially if you had 3:31 to start with.

yea im getting my 4.10s installed on next friday At Realspeed out in Bohemia,NY....quoted me at $250...i got a CAI,steeda UDPs ,axle back and bama 93 Race tune...cant freaken WAIT!!!!..im a auto by the way...make sure u get a CAI a a race 93 tune from bama or brenspeed......like I said im a auto and i chriped 3rd....tune makes a total DIFFERENCE AS WELL
