I have the MSDs and Granatelli sent me a new set of their new design COPs. The Granatellis had some quality failures in their original design but they have an all new design.
The MSD COPs did not impress me although they ran well. These new GMS COPs look awsome and have better stainless braided connectors.
I have to say not many companies would honor a warranty on electronic parts that failed after two years. Granatelli sent me these new coils and have installed them the other day.
I am planning on running these coils now, they install very easily with the new connectors.

The hp gains they see doesnt mean that it adds 20 total rwhp to the overall of your car. For example at 3500 rpms you might gain 10 hp with the COPs (245 to 255) but your cars peak hp is still only 287 rwhp. Go buy a 5.0 Mag and they usally have dyno testing on parts. Look at where they pick up the hp and see what they claim as the hp they gained.

Which GMS ones are you running? Hows the price on them?

I checked some prices for the cop's acell are approx. 300.00 from Summit; MSD'S are 408.00. The GMS you must call Granatelli for a price. Does anyone have the Acell's. Do you need to change the gap on the plugs ? Why are they more important on a FI engine ?

What voltage are those? The 60,000-volt ones?

What kind of difference did you notice after installing the Accell cop's. Also were they difficult to install, could someone that's not a mechanic like me install the. I do change my own oil and have changed the spark plugs so I'm not completely stupid when it comes to doing things on a car lol.

If you've changed your spark plugs, you've already done everything you need to do to change the COP's.... You removed them to get to the spark plugs...
