Default Driveshaft and gear whine

Just got done installing Brenspeed aluminum driveshaft, everything went perfect. Plus I had a bad gear whine on decel between 50 and 35mph after I got done installing the DS I took it for a test drive and no gear whine coming from the 4:10s. Thats righttotally gone at any speed, I'm so excited cause it was the3rd set of gears in the car and myinstaller could notget the whine to go away. If anyone has anyinfo on why this might be let me know.

I'm not sure, but does going to a 1 piece change the pinion angle? Thats the 1st thing I would guess. Definitely a guess.

is it a mechanical sounding kind of whine or is it annoying like a tea kettle?
the mechanical sound I can take but a tea kettle constantly whistling as I am driving might
make me go crazy~[:'(]

It's gear whine kinda like a Tea kettle but not as high pitched.

It is possible when you torqued the pinion nut to 140 or 150 ft lbs it crushed the sleeve a little more. This would put more preload on the pinion bearing. Mine had a slight whine and I tightened the pinion nut about 1/8 turn and the whine went away. These rearends are very sensitive and the slightest change can make a difference. But be careful, you can crush the sleeve too far and cause serious issues.

I didn't have to touch the pinion nut though.
