Picking a CAI based on looks alone...
OK, so I'm pulling the trigger tomorrow on a cold air intake. I've read what seems like hundreds of posts and know as much as any noobie can know about this stuff. I have an SCT Xcal 2 from a friend of mine who used it on his Lightning. It has been reset to stock. I'll be buying tunes from one of the reputable tuners listed in these forums. I'm stuck on one of three intakes. I know that all three will provide very similar HP/TQ gains so it's really a matter of looks. One of these are going in my Alloy convertible... which will it be?
C&L Street
Modular Depot ProFab w/Alloy paint match in place of polished tube
Steeda Carbon Fiber
Thanks!

If I wasn't on a budget when I bought my intake, I would have went for the WMS. The only bad part about the WMS is that it's a pain to remove it if you ever need to, and the install is a little more invasive than the other intakes.

Keep in mind w/the Steeda you can mate it up with a Saleen SC.
So Can the wmsracing CAI!!

I live in CA andneed to be able to return the car to stock quickly and easily - that rules out the WMS.
So far it looks like...
C&L: 2 votes
Steeda: 1 implied vote
ProFab: 0
I love the carbon fiber on the Steeda and the ability to color match the ProFab...

get the Demolet Tuneable Induction intake. it's enormous like the JLT and it's Carbon Fiber like the Steeda. it looks absolutely sick on the car and it seems to be outstanding quality. also, on their website, they have dyno numbers showing a bigger gain than the JLT or C&L.
