Default Spydershaft

Just read the directions on how to install a spydershaft. Anyone have the spydershaft? So far I have only heard positive feedback on the driveshaft. Any comment on the spydershaft would be nice. I plan on ordering one probably within the next couple of weeks here. Leonard Racing Products is located right in Mt. Airy, about maybe 15-30 minutes away from Frederick... where I am. I am probably going to take it to the shop and have them do the install.

I've read mostly positive things. Only negatives were some issues with vibration. Not everyone has that though.

I have the Spydershaft and I love it. Absolutely no problems out of the unit. Very good engineering went into the driveshaft.

I have one, and so far so good, I haven't been able to take it to the track yet (rain seems to like Friday nights for some reason...), but no issues other than a tight clearance that now prevents me from driving with 2 people in the back seat...and that doesn't **** me off!

I have one and it vibrated like crazy. I sent an email to the owner and he was very helpful. Rotated the shaft 180 degrees and it was cured. I am very happy with the performance and more than pleased with the post sales support.

are you lowered?
if so, what kit/components?
wheel size?
tire size?

I have the FR Drag Pack installed, which lowers me about 1.5". I have the stock 17 inch rims/tires on as well. I knew that clearance would be an issue, I have a Magnaflow x-pipe and Borla Catback installed as well, and that looks like it took up more room than the stock pipes. Installation was easy, but when we were putting it on, we knew there wasn't much clearance when we were looking for a driveshaft safety loop installation point...which I'm still looking for one that may fit.

I have one. No vibraion issues at all up to 135 mph. I hear some minor gear whine from the stock 3.55s transmitted through the shaft sometimes when the radio is off. Other than that, easy install, quality product.[sm=smiley20.gif]
