Difference between Hurst Competition and Hurst Billet Shifters?
Hey guys,
I'm looking to upgrade my shifter with a hurst. But now I'm wondering what the difference is between the Hurst Comp shifter and the Hurst Billet Shifter. Is there a performance or feel difference?? Thanks!

As far as I can tell is that the Billet shifter is built better to withstand more. But they should feel the same and no performance gains.

really no difference at all the shifter forks will bend before the pro comp shifter will versus the biullet i would just save the few bucks unless you want to have some bling hidden by the driveshaft. my 2c... either way please use locktight when you install your shifter any one you choose use locktight

Billet hurst FTW! Reasons: its billet duh! haha but seriously I plan on getting the billet hurst because it looks so much stronger and its the newest version. There have been issues with the earliest version so I would go with the newest.

Well im not gonna lie. I would like to try the MGW but that been said I WOULD NOT buy the buillet over the standard just because i truly do belive that you couldnt bend the pro stock lateral arm. The amount of torque required to bent the pro stock arm would DEFINITELY cause transmission damage.
Its the same shifter with a Buillet lateral arm that nowbody can see so really whats the point? Save the money and put it towards another worthwhile mod
