I want to get straight pipes, but have heard they can cause issues with the car. This is why i would like to know whats the loudest/ best sounding axle-back exhaust (w/mufflers) on an otherwise stock gt?

"straight pipes" won't hurt your car. idk where you heard that bogus info. And any type of axleback without mufflers is not considered a straight pipe exhaust. just one pipe with no cats or mufflers or H's or X pipes would be considered a straight pipe exhaust IMO. I have SLP loudmouth's which is basically a muffler delete and it sounds freakin amazing. no drone inside and louder then hell when you get on it. just go look up SLP loudmouth on youtube and you'll see what i mean.

Trust me dude, i've been all over those videos lol. I want the loudmouths so bad but i keep hearing both sides. Most say they wont cause any complications and a few people i know say they can cause valve issues. How long have you had your loudmouths?

Im seriously thinkin about getting the loudmouths now. Worst case scenario if something does go wrong i could just put the stock pipes back on before i bring her in

Straight pipes will not do any harm to your engine.

why would they cause valve issues? all they do is make ur engine breathe a little easier.

You lose backpressure with any striaght thru design like a a loudmouth. Same applies with o/r pipes, you lose backpressure and thus lose torq.

Ive heard boomtubes,they sound great.Im kind of partial to the mac setup though,you cant go wrong for the price.Ive got the mac axlebacks and it sounds badass.I get lots of compliments form the setup.But yeah straight pipes wont hurt anything at all.
