MPH for each gear with 3.90's?
Im really considering getting 3.90 gears...Yes i know they wine but that doesnt matter to me...Is what im concerned about is the top mph for each gear with these gears...such as
1st=__ mph
2nd=__mph
ect.
If anyone can get me that info that will be greatly appriciated!...The reason im so conserned with this is cuz im on a 150 shot of nitrous and i think the 4.10's will just be to short of gears for me. Also due cuz i drive everyday on the highway around 80.
Thanks

Not sure on the exact MPH for each gear. As long as you have some sticky tires and suspension I think 4.10's would be great. Also most people dont have any complaints about 4.10's on the highway... Good luck with the decision.

Need to know if you're a manual or auto and I'm assuming you have a S197. Need tire size too. I'll attach a spreadsheet as a .zip file. Save it to your pc and rename it to a .xls. When you open it up, click on the "gear calc" tab on the bottom, you variable options are tire size/profile/diameter and gears.

1st = 38.5
2nd = 65
3rd = 98.6
4th = 130
5th = 192
These are based on a manual transmission with stock tire diameter.

There is a sticky on the subject: MPH, RPM sticky
If the info you need is not directly presented, look for the link in post #5, it takes you to an online calculator where you can figure this all out for your exact tires, rpms, rear diff, etc.
