I was gonna get those but I need one that would last through the winter months up here, I might just take out the cut out motors during those months and then re-install then during the summer. I have heard stories of the doors malfunctioning and such...

the hi flo cats are great, just be careful not to hit them with speed bumps, already busted up a pair on mine, pulled them off and they were hollow !!! lol

i picked up a solid 10 RWHP/RWTQ switching to x-pipe with hi flo cats, plus the sound is great, rougher idle and scream at WOT !!

I have heard cut-outs on GTO (2004) it was sick, unfortunately you look like a tool at the track if you sound like a 10 second car and run a 14.5 LMAO

good luck

I've found, on my setup, going from stock cats to "high flow" cats yielded about 10 whp.

Well, after a day at the track.. I have decided to DITCH the cut outs and go with the plans of getting the SLP high flow catted H pipe along with 22 inch resonators and the OEM GT500 axle backs.. why the GT500??

I learned that they actually use the V-6 mustang mufflers. I guess the original design for the mufflers were still too loud, so they decided to go with the sixxers instead.

Yeah, I am tired of the blarringly LOUD sound of the cut outs.. though they were all fun, shiets and giggles before, they are down right OBNOXIOUS for daily driving and are down right obsurd, even if the car ran 10s ( I wish! lol)

My game now, is to be a SILENT and WHISPER quiet as possible.

(-:

The JBA headers surprisingly work better with the cut outs CLOSED and provide an appreciable amount of HP, though it's mostly throttle response and low end.. I am not complaining.
