Default exhaust question from a fabricator.

Anyhow. im a welder/fabricator by trade. i've mostly fabbed headers for crotch rockets, and custom turbo applications (i.e manifolds, intercoolers, and plumbing) and i refuse to pay 150+ for a h or x pipe.

With my expirence on race bikes they usually tie the runners in which makes the flow very harsh. and best flow is to get rid of these.

My Question is, if anyone has done single pipes in stead of a H pipe or X pipe.... instead or header into H/X pipe remove the balance tube. two strait singles?

The amount of flow between the sport and Mustang is pretty different. Also the length of the tubing is significantly different. I would not get rid of the crossover. If you have a stock H pipe you could put into an X pipe which will change the sound.
