I'm about to get my stang back from the shop after snapping the input shaft in half. I already made the move to convert the input shaft to a 26 spline but thats not going to solve my future problems with the stock trans. I'll have a strong input shaft but thats about it. I've been thinking about it a lot lately and I'm pretty sure that I'm going to upgrade the trans in the next few months but I'm not sure where I want to go with it. Here are my requirements.

1. I will never go auto.
2. Needs to be able to handle a up to 800 rwhp after I upgrade my blower and other engine components.
3. Would not like it to completely take up my entire spring car budget (which I will not expose the amount)

I thought the 6060 the GT500 has is pretty strong. Will that one not work for you?

yes i +1 this my shop doing it to a stang pushen close to 800 and basicly get the T-6060 and have it built for your needs imo it comes with the 26 spline so your fine =d

just need driveshaft and other goodies with it to work and shift fork if i recall.
