Default consistant vibration at 1100 and 3100 RPM pissing me off

hello all,
I am experiencing a consistant vibration, warm and cold at 1100 rpm and 3100 rpm or somewhere there about. i have yet to notice the 1100 rpm vibration on decel but is noticable on accel. at 3100 to ablout 3200 the vibration is on accel and decel. it is like a grunting verbing sound from the trans area. Im thinking it is the bellhousing problem there has been a thread about. I am wondering if that could be the issue or if it is something else. the vibration happenes at every gear. but consistantly the same rpm and at no other rpm band.
Ideas??? anyone???

Did you have the problem before you got the pypes and x pipe? I know just w/ my Steeda axle backs I can get a good bit of vibration around the same rpm levels.

I had a vibration at 3200 rpms in any gear. It would vibrate my rear view mirror with my 1 piece driveshaft installed, but was just noticeable to me with the stock driveshaft. I changed my clutch to a spec stage 2 and spec billet steel flywheel. After that the vibration is completely gone and I put my 1 piece driveshaft back in.

I'm not sure if your problem is the same, but mine must have been my clutch or flywheel being out of balance.

moose yes it could be the same thing but it seems odd to me that the wear or warping to either of the parts could get an identical response to the same rpm. seems possible though. and as for the exhaust being the culprit no dont think so but i was thinking of cutting off the hangers from the x pype as ford lost them due to nvh issues (i think) can anyone confirm or deny this?
