Unhappy My car has a new trick

So my car has been playing this new trick on me for the past 2 days. It will run fine..then start idling weird while waiting at light or pulling into a parking lot and no matter how much I try to give it gas..it stalls. I wait a few minutes and it starts and runs just dandy. Pull up to a light or parking lot and the idle starts going wacky again. It doesn't do it all the time at intersections or parking lights. Its totally intermittent.

In addition I hear this weird electronic sounding buzzing noise coming from under the hood. I removed the fuse box cover and that is where it was coming from. It was fuse #29 which is for the rear defroster.... I pulled the fuse and bought a new one...installed it and the same result..buzzing noise. It also is intermittent and does not do it all the time..

Any suggestions?? Is this the "battery phenom" that I have read about before??

The obvious answer is take it to dealer if it's still under warranty...the other obvious answer is um...eh...well if it was obvious i'ld tell you.

Buzzing is never good, sounds like a short. Did you check all the other fuses? The rear defroster pulls a ton of voltage basically it shorts the filaments across the back window that's how it heats up.

It is still under warranty..the issue is getting the time to drop it off and wait for it.

no other fuses seem to have an issue. Funny thing is the defroster is not even on!! I checked it with my fluke VM and no voltage detected but the fuse is humming away

Are you sure it's the fuse making the noise,
there are some small relays in the fuse box
that would more likely make a buzzing sound.
Try unplugging and reinstalling them, might have
dirty connecton on one.

I misspoke.. It is a relay, #29. it was buzzzing. i pulled it out and cleaned the contacts and re-installed.. same result. i bought a new one and installed it..same result. Fo now it is just out....it's for the rear defroster
