Won't Start after new Tune

Default Won't Start after new Tune

Had a C&L intake put on last summer ran without tune for a week before i put it away for the year...so while sitting i ordered the X3/Brenspeed tune pack... loaded the tune... started the car it was almost empty streets were dry so i took it down to gas station filled it up and drove home... ran great.. now 1 week later of sitting i go out and it is Very Hard starting it putters but after about 5 minutes i can get it running.. and it throws a p2196 and p2198 code ( running rich) but i have no idea why.. any help would be greatly appriciated.. oh ya i returned car to stock to see if i can get it started again because as of right now i cant get it running and still nothing

you can try disconnecting the battery
for 30 minutes and if that doesn't
help, pull a spark plug to see it's
condition.

So you cant get it to start with the stock or aftermarket tune? Is it throwing same codes on both tunes?

A reflash has the exact same effect as the battery disconnection, on every re-flash KAM is erased.

To the OP did you told Brenspeed's people detailed info on everything you had on the car (specially the version of C&L intake, racer or street?)

Make sure the maf sensor wire didn't come off, did you lock the little red clip?

UPDATE: finally got the time to pull the plugs....they are toast.. pure black filth not even going to bother trying to clean and reuse...but why was the tune making it run so pig rich that it fouled my plugs??? do i need to email brenspeed and maybe see if they screwed up some how?

its the "racer" intake... and thats what brenspeed has me having on their records...i emailed them and they said not to worry too much they highly doubt there is a problem.. they said start with a fresh set of plugs and try again
