a cop of this forum explained that there isnt an official "quota" but they are supposed to write so many tickets
^^^
i always wondered about that...in the army had to always watch my speed on the post, MPs really stict about the speed limit, ect. Lots of 15-25 mph limits all over. Luckily I knew several guys who were mp's at my last duty station so that sort of helped...
then again, a super slooooooowwwwwwwww V6 camaro that you have to be lke Fred Flintstone and put your feet down to get it moving isn't going to get you too many burnout tickets =P
EDIT: but it was a little bit better than my other car - a little Kia hahah 125 whoop a$$ hp!!

i wrote a paper in a college criminal justice class on how there was ticket quotas.( gotta A too on it. and the class was tought by an old fbi agent.) how else do you explain speed traps on a 25-30mph zone. or have cops standing at the bottom of a hill clocking people. kinda obvious to me. plus my car wont do 25-30mph. lol
i remember right after i tinted my windshield i passed a cop standing at a bottom of hill radaring cars and she stared at my car trying to figure out if anyone was behind the wheel. hahaha you cant see me. lol
I had a cop tell me that some guys ask him one day why he never waved at them when he saw them in his neighborhood anymore. His response was, "I can't tell who is in the car with those damn black windows"
thats the way i wanted mine. on cloudy days you cant see me in my car.
same here..... only bad thing with 15% is at night i gotta roll down my windows (on any car i've owned) sometimes when i back up hahah.. when its really dark.
