TC or 3.73 gears? need advice please
heres the situation...
car is a DD. will see very very little track time. much more street racing and hammering it from 5 mph - 30 mph.
I need to get opinions on which way to go. I dont want both, because I dont run drag radials on it since its a DD so will never have the traction for both.
My understanding is that I'd get a lot more out of the TC from a dig, but that getting 3.73 gears would be less noticable from a dig but maybe(?) be a more practical choice for getting on it from a roll etc.
What do you guys think? The car is a 06 auto, so I guess I have 3.31 from the factory.

get the TC for a bigger bang for your buck. It is the single most effective mod for an automatic.
Stall speed converters dont stall unless you are brake torquing or you flash the converter (floor it) from a dead stop.
So it doesnt really affect the regular stop and go driving.

I'm pretty sure he ment Torque Converter not Supercharger. But I would say go for the TC first and honestly you could do both and just run a 255/ or a 275 tire without getting drag radials. the tires will cost more than stock, but if you look around you can find tires that have decent wear qualities 20k to 30k miles (if you don't go out of your way to burn them off the rim) and will get a ton better grip the stock. and the gears will also improve your launch and acceleration. The reason being, as you accelerat your engines RPM are relitive to your ground speed and the lower your gears (Higher number is considered lower) will couse your RPM's to be higher at a lower speed causing you to hit and maintain you power band faster. downside with lower gears is your fuel mileage will drop.
