thanks for the info guys. I used to have a supercharged 99 GT and it was great! With my S197, I just want to try something different. I think it would be kinda cool to stick it to the chevy guys and beat them at their own game! I'm going to do a little more research and yes that C&L manifold sounds awesome! Only problem is I've heard C&L has been talking about it for a while but it still hasn't come out yet.....

No way I have 300RWHP with the mods I have now, and my time slip backs up that HP number, you can't be serious that heads and cams will only give 50 - 60 RWHP?? NO WAY when I've seen dyno sheets to the contrary. If you guys have only seen 350RWHP with heads and cams there must be some really sh*ty tuners around there.

Well, please post all these dyno charts you reference that prove these power gains... above 50-60 hp for cams and heads.
anyway, you will pay way more to do it naturally aspirated than through FI.

If you built your motor, higher compression, new heads, I am sure you could extract alot of ponies!

I have over 350tq/hp for a good bit of rpm but have spent more than a blower would have cost. Now I just need to add a blower!

High compression is the key for N/A power beyond the typical bolt ons and NSR cams that everyone does.

I've thought about doing a 302 high compression stroker myself but it would be much quicker to slap a blower on. Also with FI, you have better control over fuel consumption. If you want your normal MPG, just stay out of boost. With higher cubes and ported this and that, you'll use more fuel ALWAYS. I still think the idea of a 302 stroker high compression engine is cool though.

I have seen and read that 400 WHP is possible with a N/A motor too.

StrokerStang has almost 400. I think he's like 380'ish or something. So a setup like his with bigger cams made for N/A (his are a blower grind) and high compression (his is lower than stock) you'll see > 400 easy.
