Is the motive bearing kit good?
After reading a bunch of threads about FRPP original gears vs Motive gears (now making them for FRPP as well), I have decided to pay attention to the part number and go original so as to reduce my chance of noise.
There is a good shop out here that has a lot of experience in the 4th gen mustangs and he said he knows all about the whining and make sure it is done right.
Even though I only have 16k miles on my 07 mustang gt, I want to replace everything that gets touched while he is in there. Is the Motive rear end kit a decent kit, or should I get that from Ford as well?
Which size..8.8 or 7.5?

Is there anything else I should keep in mind while putting these gears in?
I have read about the break-in process, and I intend to follow it.
Thanks

Get the kit for the V8 which is the 8.8 and heat cycle the gear set after install at least 3 times before beating on it. Some say you can and others say not to. (beat on the car)
I would look for FRPP kit and gear set if you can find them. I think the gear set ends in "A" or something like that......someone else can help on that and do a search as there are many threads on this.
