Default 500+ HP without super/turbo?

My goal is to make atleast 500 easy, but without going super or turbo (just my personal preference..) Can it be done without going over $10k? If so, what's a good list to go by. I searched all around but most of what i found was SC/TC, unfortunately.

Thanks!

not sure if it is possible with a n/a setup. even if you get a built block im not sure if you could get to 500hp at the crank. unless you get a built 351C. but then you will be out of your price range of $10k. good luck.

You can get to the mid 400s for just over half that amount, but to get into the 500s you need a power adder - N2O.

If you mean 500+ rwhp, that would not be streetable if even possible in the first place.

Now, 500 bhp can be done. For a manual, that's only 425 rwhp and plenty of people have around or close to 400 with stock or slightly less compression. EagleStroker has close to 400 and he has less than stock compression.

Good cams (like Comp Cams SPR stage 2 or 3), ported heads, high compression (11:1 or so) stroker, longtubes, and other bolt ons should do it.

Well.. getting back to the original thought without limitations... I like the sound of american muscle, you know? I guess I just haven't yet to find a good supercharger that doesn't sound like a mustang to me. Any ideas?

Might be possible with a 323ci 3v Modular block with intense Cams and head work and just about every bolt on possible.

Are you opposed to nitrous? You said no turbo/super...Nitrous would get you there for sure, I'd think. Also, we need to know if you mean power at the wheels or not, big difference.

And +1 to what SirKnight said. That'd be a pretty mean car
