I have been taking voltage readings in the driveway at various rpms. Idle is less than 1 volt (apparently right where it should be). A slow ramp up to 3k rpms doesn't increase that very much.
A quick rev to 5k+ will bring it up to a little over 3v. I was expecting the output to peg at 5v near redline. Anyone know what voltage should be max?

I'm guessing that in order to get a true reading the motor has to be under load? Anyone know for sure?

At this point all I'm trying to do is determine if I should set my water/methanol injection controller to start with MAF voltage or boost pressure. It's recommended that positive displacement superchargers use MAF because the signal gets to the controller faster. They also recommend that starting voltage not be below 3v and I want this to kick in before the 5k rpms I'm getting 3v at.

I guess if it doesn't work I can always switch it later. Just was hoping someone could shed some light on what to expect.

Thanks,
Bruce

Yes! You should data log rpm, maf voltage and load. Do a third gear pull from around 2K up.

Don't the interceptor gauges display MAF volts? Maybe not, I can't remember.
