or just get a quick relese for the bottle, keep a gym bag in the trunk, with the tools to take the line off the bottle. take the bottle out, put it in the bag, and take it inside. takes a hole 30seconds.
thats how i do it anyway.

I'm considering the idea of installing a NOS system on my 2005 Mustang GT. It doesn't have any forged internals, so I was wondering if producing more temperatures and compression within an engine that's not internally forged for forced induction, could blow my engine. I've been told that a 75lb shot of nitrous wouldnt hurt anything in my engine, but then again, that's 75lbs of nitrous that my engine wasn't intended to handle. I just wanna get everyones opinion on this issue so that i can get a more realistic answer according to whether or not it's safe for me to add a nos kit. I'd much rather spend the money on something else, without having a single doubt in my mind that i could potentially blow my engine, than risking engine damage every time i use nos. Please let me know what you all think/know from personal experience. Thanks a lot for any answers/help.
One of the advantages is the short period of time the engine actually sees the increased power. Say about 1 or 2 minutes per bottle, no more than 10 or 15 seconds at a time. If you follow all of the safety procedures then you should be OK.
NOS is a brand name. I happen to have their kit. Although, I always say N-O-S.

You just need to watch your pressure when you actually use the nitrous. At 97 degrees the nitrous cannot remain a liquid, not only will you run into excessive pressure issues when you use it at that temperature, it's also not good for performance. It's easily addressed. You'll want to mount a pressure gauge inside the vehicle (about $200) and install a purge. When the pressure gets too high you can purge the system, which cools the bottle nitrous (through expansion), lowers the pressure in the line by venting it, and releases any air that's trapped.
You'll want to purge before using your nitrous system to remove trapped air and to "purge down" to ideal nitrous pressure before you spray.
