Default Shifting After Transmission Work

After I had my 3rd gear syncro replaced at 10,000 miles my shifts feel a little firmer in second and third. There is no audible grind, but it is almost like it has a crunchy feel at times, although no on every shift. I was wondering is it worth taking back to the dealer? I had it back once and they say they cannot find anything wrong with it. I am not even sure if Ford will warranty it if its not an audible grind. To add to my frustration, i noticed they didn't even put the sound dampening pad under the console in correctly after the work which is not a big deal, but just shows laziness. Any advice?
