Default Best way to go for gears?

so im running motive 4.10s in my stang, the rear end went and im going to replace the gears. i like the low end accel with the 4.10s but i was thinking about maybe trying a diff set of gears. possibly 3.73s? Or should i stick with the 4.10s for the low end? i have an 05 GT with with a few bolt ons and wanna keep low end accel.

Wat actually happens when your rear end going out? Axle snaps or just no more power to the rear wheels?

I was also wondering how your rear end went out with a couple of performance mods.

and +1 on the 4.10s.. can't imagine going any other way..

i havent fully taken apart the rear end yet, but basically, i was doing normal driving going about 30 and the car would go into gear but would not move forward and it was just like i was in neutral. heard a huge clunk, a god awful noise. I made sure it wasnt the driveshaft and noticed the bolts in the rear were all broken and some were missing. I have no idea how that happened, as i did not put them in myself, so im not sure if it was poorly installed or what. Ill know more this week on IF i will have to replace them and try to see what the hell happened. the 4.10s were nice, i was just thinking on trying something different possibly, i know 3.73s are the other common gears, but ill prob stick with 4.10s, as i believe 4.10s are better for 1/4 mile times?

Keep the 4.10s unless you think gas will be 4$ again
