Exclamation Failed Emissions check

I tried to get my mustang inspected today and I failed the emissions check. It showed that the cats could not be detected nor could the o2 sensors. I have a high flow catted h-pipe and the 93 race tune from Brenspeed loaded into my car. I originally had the off road x-pipe on my car and put the high flow catted H on without having Brenspeed change the tune. Is this why my car failed or do I need to load the factory tune back in my car before I have the inspection done again? I was not sure if it would pass with the 93 tune installed.

Load the factory tune and try again. I dont know if you have private garages that do inspection in Texas but that would be my recommendation.

Do not run the stock tune if you have an intake!!!!! Just email brent at brenspeed and tell him you need your tune to be emissions friendly. They automatically turn off the rear 02 sensors on all their tunes so that you dont throw a code if you put on an off road midpipe. He just needs to send you a new tune with the sensors turned on. you can also revert back to stock if you want, but if you load the stock tune, you need the stock intake to go with it.

jahudso2 is right, just e-mail Brent and have him send you an emissions friendly tune. Due to the O/R-X your rear O2 sensors were disabled and have not been turned back on. Returning your car to stock with the C&L would probably lead to problems as I seem to recall that CAI requires a tune.
