Stang seems to backfire/pop a lot after start up
I have an 07 GT 5-speed, the only exhaust mods are a Corsa cat-back and x-pipe. What I'm worried about is that when I first start the car up after it's been sitting overnight and get moving in first gear then let off the gas, while staying in gear, I get one or two really loud backfires (depending on how cold it is, doesn't happen as much in hot weather.) Scared the living hell out of me when it happened in a parking garage because it sounded like a gunshot
So is this something I should be worried about that could hurt the car, or is it just a side effect of the Corsa system. It doesn't bother me but I just want to make nothing is going to be damaged.
Thanks.

Its the spanish oak thats in open loop parameter mode.
Once the CATS warm up so the O2 sensors are reading
right, the system goes into closed loop fuel delivery mode
and the overly rich open loop mixture is brought back into
a correct air mixture for pop free exhaust.
In other words, its normal operation.
