I have 05 GT all stock and there is a quite noticable ticking or tapping noise comming from the right bank and its only on idle when i accelerate it goes away i am aware of the TSB for this particular problem any solution to fix this problem has anyone taken theres to ford to have the check it out? if so what have they said or what have you done?

my injectors are pretty loud, are you sure its only on one bank ?

yea im pretty sure its only on one bank cause its noticable under the fenderwell ive never owned a 3v always had a 2v so not used the engine sounds

i had this same problem and research it for a long time on here. the consensus was that it was normal. everyone assured me it was just annoying.....wouldn't be harmful

Our S197's seem to have the noisiest injectors I've ever heard.

yea i read the tsb and ford says that its not a perfomance issue and nothing is actually wrong they suggest that to aviod that noise it says that the cam phaser and bolt would have to be replaced but everything seems to be normal this is my first s197 i have had fox bodys and sn95s before but love this new platform so much improvment especially in handling
