Default Gunk in my coolant reservior

I've got 12k miles on my '08 GT and I just noticed that my coolant looks "dirty." Along the walls of the reservoir, there seems to be some greasy residue with what appears to be some gritty stuff. I've never even added water. I've never had any issues with milky oil or burning oil. I'm not losing coolant. Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Edward

Could be oil getting into your coolant, possibly? Definitely something to take in under warranty. The least they can do is put a dye in there just to be certain it's not getting into your oil.

you say you haven't added water but you haven't added coolant either right?

This stuff?

I made a post about it awhile ago. Looks oily when hot and looks like pudding skin when cold. I think it is something with the type of coolant. I had my oil analyzed and there wasn't any coolant in the oil. I've thought about having the coolant analyzed, but I don't think it's worth the trouble.

Hmmm. This stuff isn't a skin on the surface as much as crap stuck to the walls of the reservoir. I'll try to get a pic.

My car reservoir has it too. So does my 04 F150. So does my wifes Fusion. Looks crappy, but I don't think it is a issue.
