Engine Compartment Relay/Fuse box
I've been having rough start ups with the car (sounds like it's going to stall/bog out then goes up to 1k+ rpm) and don't know if it could be my fuel pump or relay. Car has under 8k miles. I've replaced fuel filter, air filter, plugs, cleaned MAF. Didn't clean the TB yet, doing that soon.
Well....while looking in the fuse/relay box under the hood to test another relay of the same type where the pump relay is, I noticed some of the rectangular relays were facing the front and others towards the back. So my OCD a** turns them around to face the same direction.
Remembering that certain wires have to touch certain pins I looked at the picture on the relay and the pin #s on the bottom of the realy; didn't match. Then I picked up a larger relay and compared the numbers on the bottom of it to place the rectangular ones down the same way.
#s at the bottom: 87 85 Picture has: 85 87
..........................86 30.....................86 30
Long story short.......Does it matter which way the relay is facing?
