Muffler Delete Exhaust- part throttle/cruise noise level

muffler deletes
i have magnaflow mufler deletes...sound very similar to slps loud mouths. its all in the mid pipes and cats! stock h-pipe and cats sound great with muffler deletes at part throttle or wot. BUT when you have and o/r x pipe or high flow x pipes things start sounding like a motor boat at wot! high flow h may be a little better in tone all the way around...my 2cents

The more I think about it- I'm fairly confident that removing the mufflers, while keeping the stock h-pipe and cats, will sound fine.
An offroad x-pipe and/or headers would require a set of mufflers- to avoid the dreaded drone (more of a resonance actually).

In between having the cut outs open and when running the muffler deletes, they really do suffer in comparison. I'd rather have NO sound then the wimpy sound of muffler deletes lol... they're a nice compromise, but I like the stock mufflers over them.

I had the SLP loud mouth exhaust on my car for over a year, I loved the way it sounded with the stock exhaust manifold and stock cats and h-pipe, it was louder at idle that it was at cruising speeds, but full throttle sounded really nice. But once I installed my headers and x-pipes with hi-flow cats it was too loud for me, with the top up it wasn't too bad, but when the top was down I would pretty much get a headache everyday just from normal cruising, and the only sound clip I have is of it idling so that won't help much, but if you plan on keeping your stock cats and h-pipe, then I highly recommend the SLP loudmouths
