... the 4.10s are really aggressive, just keep that in mind. Not sure if it's for your set up, especially with the SC..

yeah, i just read your other post-- you do lose top end power the higher you go with gears.

only with the O/D off.. the tach goes CRAZY, even at 80mph.. 3800-4000 RPMs is ridiculous. It pulls hard initially but tops off way too quick for my taste. With the O/D on and a blower, I would say it would react much more civilized... this is only w/290ish whp lol.

I didn't get any vibration with mine until I installed LCAs. Same thing happened on my Z28. The poly bushings don't isolate the vibration, but on both cars it only did it at higher speeds.

As far as the comment about losing top end, that is NOT true. I'm not sure how that myth got started, but on a street car with relatively mild 4.10 gears, your top end will be greatly improved. I have buried my needle on several occasions and picked up trap speed as well. From a roll or dig, 4.10s pull much harder than 3.31s, 3.55s, or 3.73s. My Mach 1 gained over 3 mph in the 1/4 with 4.10s, and yes it would still run 160 mph. The only time that steep gearing hurts top end is when you talking about a serious 1/8th mile drag car running 6.30 gears or whatever. In that case, he is using those gears to max his car out thru the 1/8th winding it out as he crosses. A car like that has to change his gears to run the 1/4 without having to coast across the finish line. Point being, you will never run out of gear before you do power with our 300 hp cars. I think 4.10s technically max out at 190 mph or something on our cars before running out of gear.
