Turbocharger question
Hope this is the right section for this question. If not, my apologies...
I have the turbonetics single turbo kit on my 2006 Mustang GT (automatic). After bending 2 rods, I replaced with forged rods and low compression pistons. Everything runs well except I am getting a P0021 code (Intake cam position Timing Over Advanced- Bank 2) and at low rpms there are sometimes hiccups, is the best way to describe it. If I punch it or accelerate at more than normal cruising everyday driving, then it runs fine, but at regular driving acceleration, it will sometimes do this.
Anybody have any ideas as to what this could be? And could the trouble code be related to what I am experiencing?

There are a few possible causes:
• Camshaft timing improperly set. (Bad aftermarket tune)
• Continuous oil flow to VCT piston chamber
• VCT solenoid valve stuck open
• Camshaft advance mechanism binding (VCT unit)

Who did the engine build and tuning?
Will our cars run with one cam one tooth off?
If your talking about hiccuping as in a light or intermitant misfire at idle, I experienced the same thing. Tuning changed it from a qualified and experienced tuner. That part of the tune is the drivability portion and won't affect your power levels. It corrects it's self when under load.
