Default MagnaFlow Axle Back (16573)...INSTALLED!

Bolted up the Magnaflow Axle Back tonight. Should have taken about an hour but the passenger side wouldnt center in the cutout. Had to bend the hanger bar a bit now they are damn near perfect! Sounds great...cant wait to burn them through a bit. Good times!

Awesome! I'm going to a local performance exhaust shop tomorrow to get an estimate for Magnaflow axleback. I just can't decide between 16573 or 16574. From what I understand 16574 (Magnapack) would be louder.

Hoofprint, with the 16573 setup, are you able to hear the exhaust from the interior without it being overbearing?

I did a side by side comparison of my stock GT versus a Roush 427R and the difference is noticeable and EXCITING. This is my next mod.

Congrats on your exhaust and happy cruising!!!

It is not overbearing...it is a nice deep tone and sound, if you get on it they wake up a little bit. Keep in mind these are not Magnapacks, nor do I have experience with them. This would be my 4th vehicle with some sort of Magnaflow setup and enjoy their product.

Did you put on the Magna Flow StreetPak? How much difference than the stock mufflers?

Not sure exactly what the StreetPak is, I put on part #16573 if that helps(?). Definitely a difference than with stock, a lot deeper at idle from the rear of the vehicle. From inside at idle I don't notice much. You notice a difference driving, but it is a good difference. Let me get some miles on them and see how the sound changes
