SLP LM don't have any mufflers... not sure what you mean.

o/r x or h pipe with SLP LM has absolutely no mufflers in it that's the closest you can get it to straight pipe.

I currently run the SLP Loudmouth deletes, X, and hi-flo cats with Pacesetter headers. Plenty loud, man. I ran the off-road setup, but runs WAY too rich without a tune and is RIDICULOUSLY loud. I like the car loud like the rest, but that was too much. Besides, you start burning excess fuel and you can nuke an engine running that rich. Oil change after two weeks of that yielded a strong fuel smell. Be cautious without a tune, man. They say you don't need it, but you will, man. I put my hi-flo cats back on (SLP's system is modular, so somewhat easy to interchange parts). The SLP kit will also allow longtubes if you so choose. Hope this helps. I'll get back to you on some video with the cats removed...I have a youtube one up of that.

I got a set of Borla axelbacks and stock exhaust manifold. I cut the stock h out and welded in an x about 2 years ago. I could'nt tell a difference in the sound. It sounds good, but not much different.

I already had a CAI and Brenspeed 93 tune on my car when I installed a set of JBA LTs and an O/R H-pipe. I asked Brenspeed if I needed a different tune and they said 'No'. Was your car stock before you did the exhaust work?

Also, I'll be posting video of my car this week. It sounds really good, and I've gotten several compliments on it. It's not too loud at idle or normal driving, but once you get on it, it screams.

Ummm, no.

Since there is no such thing as "universal individual exhaust sound preference" there can be no single answer. That's why we have choices in the matter.

Here is a clip of my exhaust. I went with the O/R h-pipe and I love the sound.
