Default How hard of a launch

I put some drag radials on my car. I was wondering whats a safe RPM to be launching at. 3g seemed to bog so I stepped up to 4g and thats when it doesn't. I don't go to the track but maybe once every 2 or 3 months. I figured the 8.8 would hold up well to 4g launches. I just wanted to see how high everyone else is going and not breaking anything.

Before I went whipple, I was dumping the clutch at 6K rpms on M/T street slicks. Still on the original rear end.

well if he's dumping at 6k, its to burnout, therefore less of a strain just the inital shock load and then not so bad, less then 350 hp with a cheater slick should last more then many hard launches. I know guys 1.6 60' with stock internals and my 1.8-2.0 60' both with no issues.
but with 450~HP nope i wouldnt dump a clutch, smooth slip of the clutch is always better, unless your makin smoke.
I slip at 2500-3500, depending on tires
