If so, those are not ported. They're just production heads but with the new spark plug design.

I wouldn't mind getting a pair and having them ported. At least that way I could use a normal spark plug.
Here is the right part number for the head I referred to: M-6049-N3VP it (and it's mate) are $995 each and they are ported and polished

Guys, I am leaning toward the FI solution ... seems like more bang (or zoom) for the effort. Thoughts?

Well, B&J let me ask you this. what is it that you're looking for with this mod? Raw power on tap, or a perk in power with that nice sound that we all love? What you want will dictate my answer. Personally, I think you should get some cams compatible with a blower, and go all out. That's just my $.02
