Default Ford Racing Long Tubes - couldn't have come sooner?

Maybe I just didn't see them, but had I known back in March that Ford Racing had a long tube / x-pipe combo I wouldn't have wasted a stupid amount of money having shorties installed. F! For anyone considering headers, go long tubes or don't go at all.

Anyway, does anyone have any further information on FRPP long tubes? PN is M-9430-MC and it includes an x pipe. I'm curious to see how they stand up against Kooks, and if the x pipe is off-road or not. I did read somewhere that, as is the case for some other FRPP exhaust pieces, it's a FR badged Borla XR-1 system. What do we know?

Those don't look like equal-length headers, so I'd stay away from those.

All I can tell you is I sell them as for tech details my dealer is just as clueless as we are but just for ***** and giggles maybe I'll call FRPP tomorrow and see whats up. As for them being equal length look at them, see the way the primary's overlap each other OF COURSE they are equal length.

*** Here is a little insider info. American Racing Headers makes the OEM headers for the CJ race car soooooooo do the math...... possibly

That pipe in the front is clearly longer than the pipe in the back.

Yea if you do call FRPP definitely let me know what they say. I will check out those American Racing Headers... Have you been selling the Ford Racing's for a while or are they pretty new?

No. I haven't even ordered a set, If there is no tech info I wont sell it and being nobody has asked about them I never really looked into it.

Now with that blown up picture I agree too, that's another question I will ask them, been to busy developing control arms for Marauder/ Crown Vics with my fabricator so I've been a bit busy lately but I'll make the call next day or so and talk to my guy he's pretty knowledgeable.

but i think the front pipe on the driver side header is rerouted over the top like that to give better clearance from the steering shaft.
