Default oil/grime film around heads

Is this normal? Car has 10,000 miles on it.

There's a similar film on both heads and on both sides of the heads. Also around the PCV.

I saw a little of that when I replaced my alternator recently. So I guess it's typical.

You can always retorque the head bolts. Not sure exactly how with the torque to yeild bolts. Maybe do the last torque in the Sequence that torques the bolts. I had the same thing in my 05 at 30k when I installed the Techco. Just cleaned it up and moved on.

JDM says they see this a lot. So I just ignored it.

Honestly it is not as bad as what it looks like in the picture. It is very dry, not wet or sticky. I think there is a super fine micro mist of oil that comes out of the gasget and then dirt sticks to it.

I have the same stuff around where my oil camp and PCV hose connections.
