high flow cats- worth it?
about to order some dual cut outs for my exhuast from quicktime performace, would it be a good idea to get some aftermarket high flow cats to go with it? the cut outs will go on after the cats.
Will I gain that much more performance over the stock cats? they're only like $200 and real easy to install, especially with the cut outs right there after...

so are they a good idea?? I read on the other thread that the cats sit too far up or something like that , I forgot. The cut outs themselves are only like $45 each, so they are a pretty good deal. Gonna just do these first then possibly the addition of shorty headers JBA, to really get things flowing...

I might as well just get the high flow cats as well, it looks to be an easy swap. The cut outs looks like they would be conveniently placed as well, real easy to just reach up under the car (when it's cool of course) unbolt the screws, take off the block off plate and ready to race.
(-:
had cut outs before, they sound bad ***! so much for 'stealth' mode lol...

I added highflow cats to my O/R pipe to clean up the sound. I bought the pypes hi-flow cats and they are small and very "Straight through" I could see through them.
I am no tree hugger so I dont care about emissions but I wanted a cleaner sound.

I am gonna get the SLP High flow cat H pipe and weld in the cut outs onto there, then weld in dual 18-20 inch resonators as well as the stock mufflers back on ( or possibly the GT500 mufflers).
High flow, clean quiet sound with the cut outs closed, BLARRINGLY LOUD with the cut outs open!
