Brenspeed still has 7 of the economy $150 plates left if you talk to Chandler. I just ordered some for mine since I didn't want to get stuck paying $300 for the billet ones if I had waited.. Since I'm probably going to get a centri eventually these make a lot of sense to me even if the gains are minimal.

If you want the economy plates, you should get them now. Steeda has said that they're going to stop making them. They're only going to continue the production of the Billet ones.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I bought the economy ones, and just got my updated tune from BAMA. Now I just need to figure out exactly how to get the tunes from my computer to my Xcal.

Can't wait to put these on. I'm doing a lot of work to the car at the same time. UDP, Front sway bar, springs, shocks, camber plates, LCA relocation brackets and sequential tails lights. I'll probably have the car off the road for a good month or two before all is done.

I sent you a PM. Disregard since you have the turbo. Thought you still had the Saleen blower.

All this talk about losing low-end torque, and yet Steeda claims the exact opposite on their site:

* Up to 10 horsepower increase with better low end torque
(http://www.steeda.com/products/steed...ion_plates.php)

That's some marketing...

who care about lost low end torque?
People who use their cars for....driving around? Not everyone's trips are 1/4 mile long at full throttle.
