Is it just me or does that seem like a total waste of cash? I don't see where it says if the 550hp is RW or Crank. If it's rear wheel, you gain maybe 50hp of clearance over stock. So basically, you are going to spend a few grand to allow yourself to go to 550rwhp instead of staying just shy of 500rwhp on stock. If it's crank, our engines are already capable of 550hp. I don't see the logic, unless it's a just to be safe spending.
GMS just finished a 2006 Mustang GT that drove from our facility to SEMA and is there right now after we Built the Motor and Tuned it. The Car Put down 546RWHP, with a Novi 2200 at 11LBS of boost. We put a Stroked 4.6 in it with Manley 2618 Alloy coated pistons with 9.0 to 1 compression Manley H-beam rods and kellogg performance crank shaft. The heads were stock except we did a stage 3 port job on the heads. after the car was dynoed the customer drove it strait to vegas some 320 miles away. It is now on display at SEMA. The Car also had Long Tube headers GMS 3inch Full Exhaust and a Fidanza Twin Disk Clutch. Please let us know if we can help with anything. I am Working on picks of the build and The dyno Graph, but i might not be able to post them until after SEMA so stay tuned.
