It would be cool to be unique as in not too many people have went that route, but you could probably accomplish what you want with a built block and a single turbo or supercharger kit.

Hey guys, thanks for the site referral.

I have been running the Impulse GT30 twin turbo upgrade forever and a day now. My car makes 515 wheel and 535 torque on stock internals through the stock t-body. I race this car on weekends and have had it on the dyno over 300 times. I loaned my car to a dyno company for the SEMA show and they dyno'd it 5 to 8 times per hours, for 8 hours per day for a whole week. Then i drove it home from Vegas.

I make peak boost at 2400rpm with no boost lag or drop off at all and love it! I took off my Paxton NOVI2200 for this system and the kit rocks! At the same 11psi of boost I picked up over 60rwhp and 90lb/ft of torque. Just shows you how much power is eaten up by the engine belt having to drive the blower. Plus the Paxotn makes boost in a linear fashion making full boost only above 6000rpm. So the twins are the perfect option. all the benefits of a twin screw, peak boost like a Paxton, and all with less load on the motor than ANY supercharger system.

Shoot them an e-mail and they can get you more info. eric@impulsecars.com

I have been trying to get a hold of someone from inpulsecars about there twin turbo system because they seem to have the only twin turbo system for a 2008 GT. Anyone else seen another kit out there? Any directions for the install of impulsecars kit floating around?

Hellion has twins for the GT500. Pretty sure they could build a twin for the 4.6 with no problem.
STS has twins (albeit unconventional ones)
Turbo-kits.com has a dual setup from Impulse Engineering.
And I am sure there are several more.

But, why the need for twins?

I always heard it single vs. twin was more of a space/packaging thing.
2 smaller turbos spun off half the air is pretty close to the same as 1 turbo spun off 100% of the air, right? Isn't sizing of the turbo(s) for the engine more important?

And now with twin-scrolls, wouldn't a single twin-scroll be the best route?
(not that I have seen a twin-scroll kit, or even know the price implications)
