So my battery had tons of corrosion and I cleaned it the next day car worked fine. Now its dead again. I jumped It and the low fuel message comes on. But there's pleanty of gas. If I jump it again and even drove it far enough to have a charge the battery still dead. What can it be

It's a bad battery... The MotorCrap batteries aren't the best. And, if you leave the Shaker system on with the ignition off it drains the battery even worse than the normal, parasitic drain. By "tons of corrosion" I assume you mean that white and blueish powdery stuff. If so, then the battery is trashed. Even after a jump, the alternator will have difficulty trying to maintain the proper voltage due to the battery's condition. This will cause all KINDS of electrical gremlins.

And even IF the battery was still ok and only needed a charge, you'd have to drive at highway speeds for about 4 hours or more to get a good charge on it.

I've read that if your battery dies, you actually need to hook it up to a charger and not try and rely on the alternator to re-charge the battery.

the alternators job is to keep the battery charged, not to recharge a dead battery. If you kill your battery by leaving the lights on, then you should trickle charge it overnight.
